‘We Are All Together’ ends filming stage

Iranian director Kamal Tabrizi's new comedy ‘We Are All Together’ has finished the shooting stage.

Filming for almost two months in Tehran and Qazvin, the movie will enjoy large amount of computer graphic effects in about four months.

Produced by Reza Mirkarimi, the movie has a string of stars such as Mohammad-Reza Golzar, Vishka Asayesh, Pejman Jamshidi, Mehran Modiri, Leila Hatami, Hanieh Tavassoli, and Mani Haqiqi.

The long list of stars goes on with names such as Javad Ezzati, Soroush Sehhat, Hassan Majouni, Mehran Ghafourian, Nader Fallah, Sirous Gorjestani, Ali Shademan, and Reza Naji.

Director, screenwriter, editor and cinematographer Tabrizi earned a degree in Cinema from Tehran University, College of Fine Arts and began his cinematic activities in 1983.

He is a director who has taken on issues dealing with the eight-year Iraqi-imposed war on Iran and its aftermath from different angles.

Tabrizi has directed several movies, including ‘On the Altar of Love’, ‘The End of Childhood’, ‘Sheida’, ‘Look at the Sky Sometimes’, ‘A Piece of Bread’, ‘There's Always a Woman Involved’, ‘Sensitive Level’ and ‘Sweet Taste of Imagination’.

He has also directed some series such as ‘Time of Rebellion’, ‘Shahriar’ and ‘Ancient Land’.

He proved his skills as a director with ‘Leili is with Me’, which tells the story of a man trying to avoid the war, but accidently ends up on the front line and experiences war first hand. His film won a Fajr Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Screenplay.

Tabrizi’s ‘The Wind Carpet’ received the Special Jury Prize and the Audience Choice Award for Best Film at the Fajr Film Festival.

His movie ‘Mina’s Choice’ was nominated for the Best Film and the Best Director awards at the 34th edition of Fajr Film Festival.
